The Border Medical Association membership is made up of a diverse group of medical professionals from a variety of fields and backgrounds. In addition to being members, those people listed below play an important part in the day to day running of our association.
Dr Scott Giltrap

Gynaecologist and medical director of Reproductive Medicine Albury.
I am from this region and returned from 5 years in the UK to Albury in 1985 and established the IVF unit here in. 1988. My medical interests are infertility and endometriosis. My other interests are our farm and outdoor pursuits which include horse riding, carriage driving, packhorse trips to the high country, camping .kayaking and fishing and skiing. My wife , Angela Ramsay is a General Practitioner in Albury and is the director of the Albury Horse Trials event at the Albury Wodonga Equestrian Centre (AWEC). I have 6 children and 7 grandchildren

I’m was born in Toronto, Canada but came to Australia in 2008 to complete medicine and then settled in the region. Working in Wodonga, I have a keen interest in local health and health literacy, men’s health and sexual health, particularly as it relates to the LGBTI community.
I’m a big fan of community and public health and believe that prevention is the best type of medicine!

I have been working in Albury/Wodonga since 2005 for Regional Imaging-Border when I commenced my Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship training sub-specialising in both diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. I joined the practice the following year as a Consultant Radiologist. I am originally from Melbourne but graduated from the Flinders University of South Australia with Honours, and continued specialist Radiology training in Adelaide. My primary areas of expertise include Musculoskeletal Imaging using both MRI and ultrasound. CT coronary angiography and CT virtual colonography. I am also actively involved with Oncology, ENT and dental implant imaging. Current positions are held on the BMA Executive Social Committee since 2011 and also the AWPH Medical Advisory Committee since 2009.

Medical Oncologist at Border Medical Oncology at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Consider myself very fortunate to be able to live and work in the region in which I grew up.
Passionate about clinical research and teaching.
Always trying to improve the management of older adults with cancer through research and global advocacy.
Current president of the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia.

Director of Anaesthetics at Albury Wodonga Health, I’m originally from Hamilton, Victoria, then Melbourne Uni, Geelong as Junior doc. After a couple of years in UK doing ED I settled into Anaesthetics. I love to teach anyone who will listen and love to bushwalk and run (with whippets). Every year I spend time in Cambodia to teach. I have 2 children, 7 stepchildren and love comedy and film festivals.
